Facebook Page integration

1. Purpose of pages_show_list

After Facebook Login for Business, MarketingAutoAZ calls Meta Graph /me/accounts to retrieve Fanpages the user manages. pages_show_list is required for that listing step.

• Show only Pages the user administers (with Page access token from Meta).
• Let the user choose which Fanpages to save for Auto Post.
• We do not scrape public Pages, paste tokens manually, or attach Pages the user does not manage.

Related scopes on the same Login Configuration: pages_read_engagement (read Page metadata and posts) and pages_manage_posts (publish).

2. Purpose of pages_read_engagement

MarketingAutoAZ uses pages_read_engagement to retrieve and display information, content, and engagement data for Facebook Pages connected by the authenticated Page administrator. After a Page is connected, the user clicks Sync Page from Facebook or View details. The app calls Meta Graph with the Page access token (not mocked data):

• GET /{page-id} — name, Page ID, picture, category, about/description, follower/fan counts when Meta returns them.
• GET /{page-id}/published_posts — recent posts published by the Page itself.

Synced data is shown in the Page details drawer with a last-synced timestamp so reviewers can confirm the permission is used for a real product feature.

3. How connection works

1. Sign in to MarketingAutoAZ → Content Studio → Connect channels.
2. Click Connect Facebook Pages.
3. Complete Facebook Login for Business (App ID 1045516051171576, Login Configuration 2006772376877449).
4. Meta redirects to our HTTPS callback; we exchange the authorization code server-side. Access tokens are never shown in the browser URL or UI.
5. Select Facebook Pages → Connect selected Pages. Tokens are encrypted at rest.

4. Select, sync & disconnect

After OAuth, the picker lists managed Pages only. Select one or more, then save. Connected Pages remain for that organization across reloads.

• Sync Page from Facebook — live Graph sync for Page metadata and posts (pages_read_engagement).
• View details — opens the connected Page drawer with synced fields (name, Page ID, picture, category, followers, about, recent posts).
• Disconnect removes one Page; Disconnect all clears the Facebook connection for the workspace.

5. App Review test path

Meta reviewers: log in at https://marketingautoaz.com/login with the credentials in the App Review notes (no payment gate, no SMS OTP). Then open https://marketingautoaz.com/content?tab=channels&lang=en.

1. Click Connect Facebook Pages and complete Facebook Login for Business with a user that manages at least one Page.
2. Select Page(s) → Connect selected Pages → confirm Connected Facebook Page.
3. Click View details, then Sync Page from Facebook. Confirm live Page name, Page ID, picture, category, follower/fan counts (when returned), about, last synced time, and posts from Facebook.
